Looking for a sign from above?
Driving into the setting sun for two hours straight made me nearly blind.
Gathering clouds and darkness meant a storm headed my way.
Great.
Just great.
I was lost, and looking for my exit, hoping to get off and head in a better direction before the rain came. When that large sign showed up, it was a dark silhouette in front of sunbeams.
I realized the lesson to be learned.
Even though the road was straight, and the sign enormous, it was pointless for me to rely on myself or signs. I couldn't even see the sign. But as I looked up, my immediate thought was, "I can't see the sign, and I can't see God, but he can see me, and He knows where I need to go, and not just for today."
